FAQ

Is turkey still good 5 days after Thanksgiving?

Turkey Leftovers

A leftover cooked Thanksgiving turkey will keep for three to four days in the fridge and two to three months in the freezer. Before freezing, it’s best to carve the turkey off the bone to allow it to freeze and defrost more evenly.

How do you make leftover turkey juicy again?

The microwave will heat up your turkey almost instantly, but it will also dry out the meat and make the skin chewy. Instead, reheat the meat in the oven: Put the carved meat in a baking dish and add a little moisture like chicken broth or turkey stock to the pan so the turkey can reabsorb some juices.
