Best Ever Kentucky Mule Cocktail Recipe
The Kentucky Mule is a lot like the mint julep, and has a long history in the south. In the late 1930’s and early 1940’s, it was popular to drink from a copper mug – keeping the drink cool – and looking “cool” — equally valid objectives. It was an answer to the Moscow mule, however, instead of vodka, it uses Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey. A great way to use that leftover mint from your mint julep making at this year’s Derby!
