This Green Juice Recipe is packed with kale, cucumbers, celery, lemon, ginger, and apples! Loaded with fruits and veggies, this juice is healthy and delicious!

You guys. This is my FAVORITE Green Juice Recipe. I’ve actually been drinking it for almost two years now (ever since we got our new juicer) and I can’t believe I never had the thought to share it with you!

For me, juicing is never a meal substitute, but something I add on to really pack in my fruits and veggies. This Green Juice Recipe makes me feel so good and I actually really do enjoy how it tastes. It’s also the perfect gateway into juicing if you’re somebody who doesn’t necessarily love the taste of vegetables!

Now, as much as I try, I know I don’t eat enough vegetables. Ahem, especially on days when I’m recipe testing these oatmeal chocolate chip cookies. You understand, I’m only human!

Green Juice tooooo the rescue! This recipe makes FOUR cups of juice and within that holds super food kale, cucumber, celery, lemon, ginger, and apples.

6 simple ingredients to make a truly delicious, super healthy, and really easy Green Juice Recipe!

Trevor and I started making this Green Juice Recipe a few months before our wedding, because, like I said, there are days when I’ll eat more chocolate chips than I do fruits and veggies.

While I really do love my fruits and veggies, I know it isn’t realistic (for me personally) to get what I need simply by eating them every day! That why I love, love, LOVE juicing.

Simple Green Juice Recipe

This simple homemade green juice recipe takes 6 ingredients, 15 minutes, and a juicer or blender (whatever you have will work.) Easy, healthy, and loaded with nutrition. And it tastes so refreshing! I’ve been making this juice for the past two months, and have seen some great benefits. My favorite way to enjoy it is first thing in the morning. This recipe is Mediterranean diet-friendly, and one of many vegetarian recipes my family enjoys.

Yield: 2

Serving Size: 2 large cups or 3 smaller cups (about 6 oz each)

Nutrition Facts: servingSize 2 large cups or 3 smaller cups (about 6 oz each), calories 92 calories, Sugar 12.5 g, Sodium 149.4 mg, Fat 0.8 g, Saturated Fat 0.2 g, Trans Fat 0 g, Carbohydrate 21 g, Fiber 6.2 g, Protein 2.8 g, Cholesterol 0 mg

Ingredients:

  • 1 bunch kale (about 5 oz)
  • 1 inch piece fresh ginger, peeled
  • 1 Granny smith apple (or any large apple)
  • 5 celery stalks, ends trimmed
  • ½ large English cucumber
  • Handful fresh parsley (about 1 oz)

Instruction:

  1. Wash and prep the vegetables. I like to cut them in large chunks.
  2. Juice in the order listed (or add them to a blender and blend on high.)
  3. If you used a juicer, simply pour the green juice into glasses and enjoy immediately. If you used a blender, the juice will be thicker. You can pour it through a fine mesh sieve, and using the back of a spoon, press the pulp into the sieve to extract as much liquid as possible. Pour the strained juice into glasses and enjoy!
