Ingredients:
- 2 cups crushed ice, plus extra for chilling glass
- 2 ounces light rum
- 1-ounce freshly squeezed lime juice, strained of pulp
- 1/2-ounce Simple Syrup, recipe follows
Instruction:
- If your glass is not chilled, do so by placing some crushed ice in it and set it aside while you prepare the cocktail.
- Place the 2 cups of crushed ice into a cocktail shaker. Pour the rum, lime juice, and simple syrup over the ice, cover, and shake well. Remove the ice from your serving glass and strain the drink into it. Serve immediately.
- Simple Syrup:
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup water
- Place the sugar and water into a small saucepan over high heat. Bring to a boil. Decrease the heat to medium and cook, stirring occasionally, until the sugar is completely dissolved, approximately 3 to 5 minutes. Remove from the saucepan and allow to cool completely. Syrup can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a month.

- 1 ½ ounces (3 tablespoons) best quality light or white rum
- 1 ounce (2 tablespoons) lime juice
- ½ ounce (1 tablespoon) simple syrup
- Lime slice, for garnish
- 4 ounces (½ cup) best quality light or white rum
- 3 ounces (6 tablespoons) lime juice
- 2 ounces (¼ cup) simple syrup
- 2 ½ cups ice
- ½ ounce simple syrup
- Lime slice, for garnish
Instruction:
- Add the rum, lime juice, and syrup to a cocktail shaker. Fill it with ice and shake until cold. Strain into a cocktail glass. Serve garnished with a lime slice.
- Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Serve immediately, garnished with a lime wheel if desired.

Ingredients:
- 4 oz white rum or 2 tablespoons lemon juice for virgin cocktail
- 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
- 1/2 cup fresh or frozen sliced strawberries
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 cup crushed ice
- Fresh whole strawberries
- Lime slices
Instruction:
- In blender, place rum, lime juice, sliced strawberries, sugar and just enough crushed ice to cover. Cover blender; blend until pureed.
- Pour evenly into 4 low-ball cocktail glasses or wide-mouth wine glasses. Garnish each with whole strawberry and lime slice.
