FAQ

How do you cook chicken breast so it’s not dry?

Chicken breasts are susceptible to drying out when overcooked, so they’re best cooked quickly using high heat. That means skillet-cooking, stir-frying, roasting/baking, or grilling chicken breasts are the best routes. The stovetop is particularly easy because you can make a sauce in the same pan.

What is the secret to juicy chicken breast?

To start, brine your chicken in a mixture of water and a few tablespoons of salt for about 20 to 30 minutes. This will boost the natural flavor and moisture of the chicken breasts and will leave you with a super tender piece of meat. This is the one step that will really ensure your chicken won’t be dry or tough.

What is the best way to cook chicken breast?

Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Place chicken on a large rimmed baking sheet. Brush with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Roast, until an instant-read thermometer inserted in the thickest portion of breast registers 165 degrees, 20 to 25 minutes.

How do you make plain chicken breast taste good?

Remember, it’s best to marinate your chicken breast overnight to give the flavours time to infuse. A faster way to add flavour is to simply brine your chicken breast in salty water prior to cooking. This will help tenderise the meat and add extra flavour.
