These Nutella bars are ridiculously easy to make and they come together in less than 15 minutes—they’re the perfect thing when you want dessert in a hurry!
I say this often: Nutella is my kryptonite. I’ve always been happy just to eat it right out of the jar but now I have a new favorite (and far less messy!) way to consume the good stuff.
Nutella bars. Ridiculously EASY Nutella bars, packed with chocolate chips, soft and chewy and oh-so-good. And as an extra point of sale: eating one of these bars makes you far less likely to end up with Nutella smeared all over your face. (Not that I know anything about that. . .)
The key to these Nutella bars is under-baking them slightly so they stay soft—eating one is almost like eating cookie dough with Nutella frosting.
Combine melted butter with granulated sugar and brown sugar in a mixing bowl and stir vigorously with a wooden spoon until the mixture is smooth. Mix in eggs and vanilla, then salt and flour.
Fold in some chocolate chips until they’re evenly distributed, then add 1/4 cup of Nutella. Use a rubber spatula to stir the Nutella into the cookie dough—STIR THE DOUGH just one time.
You’re not trying to mix the Nutella in completely, but rather to create ribbons of Nutella throughout the dough.
Scrape the cookie dough into a 9-inch square baking pan (sprayed first with cooking spray) and dollop another 1/4 cup of Nutella over the top of the cookie dough. Use a knife to swirl the dough and Nutella together.
Bake for about 22 minutes, until the edges of the bars are set. Don’t be tempted to leave your Nutella bars in the oven until they look completely done; you want the center of the bars to be a little jiggly when you pull them out.
Next time you’re craving chocolate I hope you’ll give these Nutella bars a shot. I can just about guarantee they’ll satisfy your cravings.

- 1/2 cup Nutella (divided)
Instruction:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9-inch square baking pan with cooking spray and set aside.
