Ingredients:
- 4 cups blueberries ((fresh or frozen))
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 6 Tablespoons butter
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup milk
- ground cinnamon
Instruction:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Slice butter into pieces and add to a 9×13 inch baking dish. Place the pan in the oven while it preheats, to allow the butter to melt. Once melted, remove the pan from the oven.
- Add blueberries, sugar and zest to a bowl and stir to combine.
- In a separate bowl mix together the batter ingredients: flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Stir in the milk, just until combined.
- Pour blueberries over melted butter in pan. Drizzle batter over the top. Sprinkle with a little bit of cinnamon.
- Bake at 350 degrees for about 35-40 minutes, or until lightly golden on top.
- Serve warm, with a scoop of ice cream, if desired!

- 1 cup self-rising flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup milk ((2% or higher))
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) salted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups fresh blueberries
- 1/4 cup sugar ((for sprinkling on top))
Instruction:
- Preheat oven to 350F degrees. Spray a 9×9-inch square baking dish with nonstick cooking spray and set aside.
- In a medium bowl, stir together 1 cup self-rising flour with 1 cup granulated sugar. Add in 1 cup milk and then pour in 1/2 cup (1 stick) salted butter, melted and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. Stir until combined.

- Make a well in the center. Add milk and vanilla and whisk until just combined.
- Remove baking dish from the oven. Add blueberry mixture to the bottom and spread evenly. Gently pour batter over the top. Sprinkle cinnamon on top.
- Bake at 375°F for about 25-30 minutes for fresh berries or about 45 minutes for frozen berries, until batter is cooked through.
- Serve warm.
